WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good riddance is the first thing that comes to mind as I write our last post of the year, but life at Dashing Tweeds isn’t black and white and things have not been all bad.
Firstly there’s you to thank. A brand is nothing without customers. We’ve all seen this recently as companies selling things of low quality that we don’t really need have gone bust, sorting out the wheat from the chaff is a good thing, who wants to consume rubbish?
Focusing on British sustainable manufacturing is another good thing that has been highlighted, small factories and home stitchers suddenly jumped into action to make scrubs proving that Britain is capable of surviving without sweat shop imports. The main thing we’ve all realised is that change for the better can be made to happen incredibly fast if we all work together.

We all desperately miss the arts and I’m sure that artists, performers and musicians will be valued more than ever next year. The one thing I’ve missed the most is dressing up and going to, or throwing, a great party. The excitement and magical energy of a good party can never be replaced by anything virtual and the sheer joy of expressing yourself though fabulous clothing is in my book one of the primary joys of life. Hopefully soon we will be allowed out and you all know where to come next year for something to make the world a better, healthier, and more joyous place.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
