It’s the time of year for tidings of joy, and the good news starts now.

We are excited to be reopening the doors to Dashing Tweeds this coming Wednesday 2nd December and we have plenty of Christmas presents waiting for you.

From now on we only want to hear good news, the idea of a shopping event based on a day of terrible accidents in Philadelphia in the 1950’s is utterly depressing; highlighting there is nothing really positive about a Black Friday.

Rather than celebrating mass consumerism of polluting tat, we are offering Upcycle Friday and running this until the end of the year.

Always with an eye on the very best, we are lucky to have an alterations tailor now working for us. She is the most skilled seamstress you could meet and she is also a complete whizz at mending. We all have favourite items of clothing that are getting worn down and now you can extend their life and perhaps also patch them up with something Dashing.

During our Upcycle month you can bring any items of clothing in and we will mend it or alter it for you.

Prices start from as little as £15. Perhaps as a present surprise a loved one by breathing new life into one of their favourite pieces or have a prized item altered and handed down a generation.

Why have a Black Friday when you can have a Dashing one?

Our store will be open from 2nd December, 12pm – 4pm Monday – Friday, but on Thursdays during December we will be open from 12pm – 8pm for late night Christmas shopping. We are also now taking made to measure appointments and you can book outside these opening times as well.
