BACK TO LIFE

Back in the day, having danced the night away and just before the break of a new dawn, you’d often hear Soul II Soul’s spine tingling lyrics hauntingly coaxing you Back to Life, Back to Reality. Those were the days, but now we are continually thinking how fabulously lucky we are to be free to dress up and go out again. So grab life by the horns and make the most of it, after all you only live once.

I like to think that everything Dashing Tweeds stands for is ahead of it’s time, it’s just the majority of people who need to catch up; you of course are at the forefront! Sustainable wool clothing made to last, be cherished and repaired,  and woven with an exuberance for life, colour and modernity is everything we stand for.

Now is a very good time to have something fabulous made for yourself or others around you, after all you certainly deserve it just by being alive if nothing less.

To mark the sheer delight we now all feel, we have given our new season fabrics a collection of Heavenly names. Paradise, Elysium, Utopia, Eden and Nirvana are all woven using soft Donegal Merino yarns and the Shangri-La cloth is British wool, all are woven in the Scottish Borders.  To inspire you we have created a collection of tailored pieces for men and women but of course we can make you whatever you desire.

Many factors are increasing our costs at the moment but we are only raising our prices for tailoring by a very small amount until next year, so do take advantage of this.

Our made to measure tailors take around six weeks to make you a lovely coat or suit. We also offer our Teba jackets made in house or our full bespoke tailoring service with the talented cutter Dan.

Now that we’re back to reality, it’s time for us to make you something that you’ve always dreamed of.
